The Bendrigg Trust provide courses and activities for disabled and disadvantaged young people. They wanted to construct a new building on their remote site located in the hills between Sedburgh and Kendal.
The Kinross Building provides a whole host of indoor facilities (such as a Climbing Wall, Sensory Room, Caving Experience Area and a Multi Purpose Space), which allow the Centre to continue with their activities throughout the year, whatever the weather.
The building was opened in Summer 2007 by Sir Chris Bonnington.
