This project demonstrates how a small increase in a building’s footprint can make a significant difference to a property both in terms of usable space and in value.
A small extension was built at the rear of the house containing a ground floor WC and Utility Room with a new bathroom at first floor level. This allowed the former bathroom to be stripped out and converted into an adiitional bedroom. The scheme also involved various energy efficiency improvements to the house, such as additional insulation and new windows.
The re-design of the garden was a collaboration with Garden and Landscape Design.
