C2 Investments engaged hpa to help in the restoration of the Grade 2 Listed Duke of Edinburgh Hotel in Barrow-in-Furness.

This magnificent Hotel originally opened in 1871 when Barrow was a thriving steel and ship building town. However, since the 1960s the hotel entered a period of decline, and by 2005 it was in need of urgent repair.

C2’s purchase of the building in 2006, has seen an investment of over £2million into the transformation of this once run down building into a popular 30+ bedroom boutique hotel, bar and restaurant.
