Runshaw College is one of England’s leading further education centres, and it’s main campus is located in Leyland.
hpa has been responsible for masterplanning the development of the campus over the last 10 years. The practice has designed a number of the large Teaching and Administration buildings which have been constricted over that period, such as the Eskdale, Grizedale and Ferndale Teaching Blocks. hpa have also designed the Hawkshead building which includes a Sports Hall and Fitness Centre.
hpa’s work on this site combines pleasing aesthetics with affordability. The designs have also proven over time to be robust in use and efficient to run and maintain.
