Gateway House is a significant new commercial development at one of the main entrances to Lancaster City Centre. It has recently gained Planning Permission, and work is expected to commence in the next few months.
The building will be a major addition to the regeneration of the Kingsway area of Lancaster. It will contain over 40,000 sq ft of modern office space over 5 floors.
A major glazed façade on the primary elevation makes the most of views towards the River Lune, whilst new pedestrian routes within the development link the site with the City Centre.
The design intends to provide flexible office accommodation to meet the needs of the City, whilst responding to the various site characteristics and demands. We hope that Gateway House will be a building which stands for the future of Lancaster whilst respecting its historic heritage.
