An Outline Planning Application for the Eastern section of the Lawson’s Quay site was
submitted to Lancaster City Council in the summer of 2008.The approx £55 million
scheme includes a hotel complex, office units, shops and a residential area.
The scheme was designed as a joint venture between London based Architects,
Hamiltons and hpa. The masterplanning experience of Hamiltons and the local
knowledge of Harrison Pitt, combined with the design and technical experience of both
practices, has led to the creation of an exciting scheme for the redevelopment of a
large site in the heart of Lancaster.
