Appraisal
Identification of client’s needs and objectives.
Preparation of Feasibility Studies
Design Brief
Development of the client’s statement of requirements.
Identification of procedures, other consultants and assistance required to complete the project.
Concept
Preparation of Concept Design and Outline Proposals.
Design Development
Preparation of a developed design from preferred concept proposal through to detailed Planning Application.
Completion of the project brief.
Technical Design
Preparation of Technical designs and specifications, sufficient to co-ordinate components and elements of the project and information for statutory standards and construction safety.
Production Information
F1: Preparation of Production Information in sufficient detail suitable for submission for Statutory Approval and / or basic tender information.
F2: Preparation of further information for construction required under the building contract.
Tender Documentation
Preparation and collation of Tender Documentation.
Tender Action
Identification and evaluation of potential contractors and specialists. Obtaining and appraising tenders.
Mobilisation
Letting the building contract, appointing, arranging site handover and issuing of information to the Contractor.
Construction Phase
Administration of the building contract through to practical completion
Post-Practical Completion
L1: Administration of the building contract through to final inspections.
L2: Assisting Building User during initial occupation period.
L3: Post-occupation evaluation and review of project performance.
