Richard Parker
BA (Hons), BArch (Hons), RIBA
Richard studied architecture at Liverpool University, graduating in 1984. He then joined C A Cornish Architects in London and qualified as a member of RIBA in 1985.
In London, he worked on a broad range of commercial projects, including a department store in Wimbledon, listed office refurbishments in Fleet Street and Bedford Row, a distribution centre in Croydon as well as offices in Milton Keynes. He was appointed as an Associate in 1988, and was in charge of a £25m office development in Vauxhall as well as leading the practices work for Scottish Amicable.
Richard joined hpa in 1994, working on projects at Avocado
Organics Ltd, St Martin’s College and Runshaw College, all of
whom have developed into long term clients for the practice.
He was appointed as a Partner in 1999 and subsequently a
Director in 2003.
