Richard Wooldridge
BArch (Hons), Dipl Arch, RIBA
Richard studied Architecture at the Edinburgh College of Art
(Heriot-Watt University) where he graduated in 1998. He
gained ARB validation and RIBA membership in 2000.
He initially joined hpa immediately after leaving Edinburgh,
and spent three years working for Mike Harrison and Dennis
Pitt. He then spent four years at Mason Gillibrand Architects,
before returning to hpa as a Director in 2005.
Richard enjoys creating both practical and innovative designs,
and has great experience working with many different building
types. He has also had work featured in the Architect’s
Journal.
Outside the office, Richard has served as the President of
LAWSA (the local Branch of the RIBA) since 2003; he also sits
on the RIBA North West Regional Council.
