Planners had rejected the idea of a two storey extension to this Grade 2 Listed Building.

hpa were commissioned to try and change the Plannerís minds. The extension was designed with a glazed link between the old and the new stone faced buildings. This link creates a ëpauseí, which allows the Listed Building to be visually separated from the new extension. This concept gained approval from the Conservation Officer, and work on site was completed in December 2007.

The extension creates a new Hallway, Stairwell, Garage and Utility Room. 2 new first floor bedrooms are linked through to the original building via a glazed bridge.
